Pulling inspiration from the 60’s and 70’s, Karla Spetic’s Autumn/ Winter 2012 collection is a vivid mix of playful pieces. Mohair sweaters, sheer skirts and tops, military infused jackets and tailored pants team up with leopard print and several pieces printed with Roy Lichtenstein’s iconic artworks. The colour palette is refreshingly different for a winter range with standout pieces in lemon, sky blue and icy pink. Spetic also manages to deliver a feminine range despite the injection of tailored shirts, stiff collars and oversized jackets providing us with a lovely change of direction for this coming winter.
